This is the week we join together on behalf of our common goal -- to raise public awareness, create a better understanding of vasculitis, and draw attention to vasculitis as an important health issue that cannot be ignored.






Your active support is crucial as the Vasculitis Foundation looks to the future. If each of us makes a goal to participate in Vasculitis Awareness Week, our strength will continue to build and make a positive difference in the lives of those living with vasculitis.



Opportunities to participate in Awareness Week are endless. Following are a few examples:

Distribute VF Brochures to doctors' offices, pharmacies, hospitals, libraries
Contact local civic clubs and offer to speak about your personal experience with vasculitis
Coordinate a display at a health fair, store, or hospital
Ask your city government to publicly acknowledge Vasculitis Awareness Week
Write a letter to your congress person
Contact your local media to be interviewed about vasculitis
Plan a fundraising event
Share information about Vasculitis Awareness Week with your contacts on Facebook, Twitter and other online sites
